Postdoctoral fellowships

PhD positions

PhD positions are available to join the Alberti lab through different programmes, for entry in October 2026.

- 2 fully funded PhD positions through MIBTP to work on i/elucidating the biosynthesis and mechanism of action of the anticancer antibiotic pleurotin; ii/ discovery of new antimicrobials for use in crop protection.

- 1 fully funded PhD position through NERC-CENTA to work on the interaction between fungi and insects.
